Where else have you lived in Somerville?Moore St from 10 years old till 14 years old. Moved away to another city for two years and came back to Somerville when i was 16 years old in 1987. Lived on Avon St junior and senior year which would be 1987 and 1988. Lived on Main St for 5 years and moved away. Came back to Somerville on Gorham St for three years in 2004, 05, 06 then left again.

What is your earliest Somerville memory?My earliest memory was Norman the ice cream man yelling my name (little al) when he pulled up to our street. I was about five or six.
How would you describe Somerville in the 1980s?I'm sure alot of people would say a poor city.
How would you describe Somerville today?Somerville is a vibrant city with a younger 20's and 30's crowd that lives there. The abolishment of rent control in Cambridge and the desire to live near a train station like Davis Square has changed the landscape of somerville forever.
Whether it's growing up in the 70's and 80's or living there in the transforming 90's to present I have great pride in the city of Somerville.
