What is your earliest Somerville memory?Too many to sift through through, but playing in front of my house when the side walks were brick comes to mind.
How would you describe Somerville in the 1980s?Davis Square was old, old stores, old buildings. Nothing hip until the T came in. Can still remember sneeking down into the T-Station to see the tiles before they were open to the public.
How would you describe Somerville today?Go back to visit family often, and it is clearly a young hip location now, at least on the West end. I get a kick out of folks I have met away from Somerville who know Davis Square as a happening place.
How has Somerville changed?Definately. Housing is so expensive now in Somerville.
Great project. Who ever thought these tiles would garner so much attention.
