What is your earliest Somerville memory?My earliest memory is walking from Cameron Ave to Davis Sq on the train tracks that were still in use where the bike path is now.
How would you describe Somerville in the 1980s?Run down, Slumerville sums it up. High crime and a lot of bad actors and lucky to have survived it.
How would you describe Somerville today?It’s done a 180 and lucky we still own our childhood home and the other property because it’s hard to afford property there now.
How has Somerville changed?Yes it has changed for the better less crime. Not Slumerville anymore.
I remember going down to the Davis Sq. station to see my tile after it opened and I could not remember what I made until I saw it.
