What is your earliest Somerville memory?Going to school at Powder House :) Getting a slush at Hodgkin's Spa (Tony's). Walking to Davis Square. The blizzard of '78, no school for a week!! Sunsetters!!
How would you describe Somerville in the 1980s?Family friendly, everyone knew one another. Kids could walk everywhere even to "playdates".
How would you describe Somerville today?Somerville is like a mini Harvard Square, especially the area where I grew up. Its very yuppy now and has lots of trendy bars, restaurants and coffee shops.
How has Somerville changed?Somerville has changed since 1980. The major factor was the addition of the Davis Square T stop.
