249 Tiles
The story behind the Davis Square Tiles
Inside the Davis Square T stop in Somerville, Massachusetts, there are 249 tiles created by students at the Powderhouse Community School during the 1978-79 school year. These tiles are a record of 249 people who lived in Somerville at the time, and we are collecting their personal histories to better understand the history of Somerville.
